Using search
Section titled “Using search”Press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on macOS) to focus the search bar, or click directly in the search field at the top of the window.
Type any text — Columnar searches all cells across all columns simultaneously. Results appear as you type with a short debounce delay of 300ms to avoid searching on every keystroke.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”- Match count — shown next to the search bar (e.g.
12,483 matches) - Highlighted cells — matching cells are highlighted in blue
- Row highlight — rows containing a match are highlighted so they stand out while scrolling
- Auto-scroll — the viewport jumps to the first matching row automatically
Search behavior
Section titled “Search behavior”- Case-insensitive — searching
londonmatchesLondon,LONDON,london - Substring match — searching
yorkmatchesNew York,Yorkshire,york - Searches all columns — there is no per-column search filter yet
- Works on the current sort order — matches are shown in whatever order the data is currently sorted
Clearing search
Section titled “Clearing search”Press Escape or click the ✕ button inside the search bar to clear the search and remove all highlights.
No results
Section titled “No results”If your search returns no matches, the search bar shows No matches and the viewport stays at its current position.
